Traveling Audio Visual Lead Technician

Temporary Technology, Inc. provides audio visual and computer solutions on a short-term basis, working primarily in the meeting and event industry.  TTI has just celebrated 21 years in business, although our business model has changed dramatically over the last few years.  As such, nearly all of our equipment is less than two-years old. TTI is one of very few companies that truly can provide computer and AV to our clients.  Therefore, we are in a unique position to grow with the convergence of IT and AV.  We specialize in predicting the anticipated and providing the unexpected.  The Golden Rule is our guiding principle.  Self-serving individuals will not do well in this environment, while people that find satisfaction in helping others will flourish.  We realize that our technicians are on the “front-lines” in this customer-service critical world.  Therefore, we know that no employee is less important than any other.

We are currently seeking a traveling Audio Visual Lead TechnicianThe ideal person will have 2 or more year’s audio visual/computer experience in the rental/staging industry.  This person must demonstrate the ability to setup/operate wireless systems, mixing consoles, effects, projectors, seamless switchers, cameras and various other AV gear.  The ability to configure, setup, and network multiple computers and printers is a plus.  Candidates must be able to pull and stage equipment for shows and have the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time (or more).  The majority of our events take place outside the Cincinnati area and require overnight travel averaging 8-10 nights per month, (for approximately 8 months each year).  The Lead Technician will also demonstrate the ability to supervise others and be able to deliver our core values to our clientele and other technicians.  You can learn more about our company on this web site.

TTI benefits include paid vacation time, group medical and dental insurance coverage, cell phone, and a retirement plan.  Salary will be based on experience; $27,000-$33,000 with bonuses for overnight travel.
